Menstrual Calendar for Calculating Fertility

Having a baby may be a dream for every married couple, both new and long-married. In order to immediately get a baby, there are initial steps you can take, which is to make a menstrual calendar to find out your fertile period. A woman's fertile period depends on her menstrual cycle. Every woman generally has a different menstrual cycle. Menstrual cycles are calculated from the first day of menstruation to the first day of the next menstruation. Usually, the menstrual cycle lasts for 21-35 days. To find out when fertility occurs, you need to make a menstrual calendar.

When Did Your Fertility Happen?

The first day of menstruation marks the start of the menstrual calendar cycle. During the menstrual cycle, one ovary (ovary) will release eggs to the uterus through the fallopian tube. This release of an egg is called ovulation. Usually, an egg can only survive for 24 hours after being released. In that time period, sperm cells must fertilize an egg so that pregnancy can occur. However, this does not mean you can only have sex during ovulation. Sperm can live and swim in the fallopian tubes for several days after sex, and can still fertilize eggs released from the ovaries. To find out when your fertile period, you should first find out how long your menstrual cycle occurs. Here is how to calculate the length of the menstrual cycle.
  • Calculate from the first day of menstruation in one month to the next month. For example in June you experience menstruation on the 1st, then in July on the 2nd. The interval between June 1 and July 2 is 32 days. It is recommended to count the menstrual cycle for 6 to 12 months.
  • After that, reduce the number of your shortest menstrual cycles by 18. Suppose your shortest menstrual cycle is 28, then 28-18 = 10. This means that the 10th day of your menstrual cycle is the first day your fertile period occurs.
  • Next, reduce the number of your longest menstrual cycles by 11. For example, your longest menstrual cycle is 32 days, then 32-11 = 21. This means that the 21st day is the last time for your fertility.
  • If you want to have a baby immediately, it is advisable to have sex between the two dates, namely the 10th to 21st day in your menstrual calendar cycle.
Keep in mind that ovulation time can be influenced by many factors, including stress, medical conditions, and the use of certain drugs. Using the menstrual calendar method to predict when ovulation and fertility can be inaccurate or unreliable, especially if your cycle is irregular. Women who have menstrual cycles shorter than 26 days or longer than 32 days are not advised to use the menstrual calendar method to determine the fertile period. For women who have irregular menstrual cycles, there are several other ways to determine the fertile period, such as the method of measuring basal body temperature (body temperature when you wake up in the morning), or using the cervical mucus method. If you want to pet your baby right away, you can try using the menstrual calendar above. But, it is advisable to see an obstetrician to get more trusted advice and advice to support the success of pregnancy.
